DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATIONAL CONCEPT OF TEACHERS’ SELF-IMPROVEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION PROCESSES

Анотація

The development of the national concept of teachers’ self-improvement in the context of European integration processes, which is characterized by increased interest to the peculiar problem since Ukraine gained independence, is analyzed in the article. It is defined the ideas of professional self-improvement and its problems: the notion about self-improvement as a component of conscious self-development; the result of theological reflection; the harmony of personal and professional development; self-determination and self-awareness of self-improvement processes; the emergence of new structural-semantic entities in the consciousness of the personality that are creative and evolutionary in nature and manifest themselves in a professional reality; self-improvement as one of the reasons of self-realization. Realizing professional self-improvement in the pedagogical aspect reveals the scientific perspective rethinking of conceptual foundations of appointed phenomenon and gives reasons for its implementation into the educational reality of professional education of high school lecturer.

Much attention is given to the fact that rethinking professional and spiritual mission of a humanity teacher who is an example of Ukrainian elite, the bearer of cultural and historical memory of the ethnic group and an intellectual creator of society actualize the necessity for modernization of the theoretical and methodological foundations of his professional self-improvement in higher educational establishments. Creativity of value and cultural view, readiness and ability to reach professional peaks are the main for the formation of the whole person, which will determine the future of Ukrainian education and national development strategies. It was found out that the modern view of the phenomenon of self-improvement lies in the concept of "instead of", "identification" and has a substantial set of multi colors, reflections (of self-creation, self-realization, self-development, self-transcendence).
