TECHNOLOGIZATION AS A MEANS OF MODERNIZING THE FUTURE HANDICRAFT TEACHER PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract

The need for modernization of the future handicraft teacher professional training is caused by the increasing demands of modern society for a personality. The fourth industrial revolution is gaining momentum in a society that puts new demands on the content and methodology of education. Since the content of the educational field of “Technology” is largely dependent on the level of technical development of the society, the modernization of future handicraft teacher training requires special attention. The issues of modernizing the content of the professional future handicraft teacher training are studied by D. Kilderov, V. Orshanskyi, L. Savchenko, M. Korets, Yu. Kulinka, M. Sadovyi, V. Sydorenko, V. Steshenko, V. Tytarenko, A. Tsyna, M. Yantsuri and others. The scholars analyse the current content of the vocational training and professional training of the future handicraft teacher and suggest the directions of their modernization. One of these directions is the labour training technologization, which was thoroughly studied by V. Sydorenko, and technologization of the future handicraft teacher professional training, which we propose in this article.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the necessity and possibility of technologization of the future handicraft teacher professional training.

The article analyses the main works of V. Sydorenko, a leading specialist in the field of labour training technologization, and the tasks set out in the current normative documents, and includes the findings of our previous research. As a result, it is found out that technology-based modernizing the future handicraft teacher professional training is not only a necessary measure but also a possibility, since the process of creating any product is characterized by generalized technology of transformative activity. The use of such technology in determining the list of subjects and their content allows to bring the future handicraft teacher professional training to the requirements of modern society.

The modernized content of the professional training provides the development of future handicraft teachers’ comprehensive and systematic knowledge of the technology of creating any products, which contributes to improving their technological competence.
