Innovation implies novelty and change. The innovative process as a means involves introducing something new. Applying this concept to a pedagogical process means new goals, content, teaching methods and upbringing. Therefore, it forms a social order for new approaches in the education system, new pedagogical thinking, and a new attitude of the teacher to his professional activities, the result of which should be the education of an “innovative person. To achieve this, the educational sphere should be full of creativity, a constant search for new ideas that promotes the disclosure of the innovative potential of an individual. Modern Ukrainian school and society need creative thinkers who support an effective training with the use of new approaches and innovation.

The national and foreign scientists (V. Bespalko, S. Barannikova, I. Havrish, I. Dychkivska, O. Dubaseniuk, I. Ziazun, L. Kozak, I. Podlasyi, V. Slastonin) devoted their scientific researches to studying innovative technologies, innovative activity, exploration of innovative processes in education, development of innovative culture and the issue of the person’s attitude to innovations in various theoretical aspects.

In scientific achievements of scientists, the various aspects of innovative processes in education are theoretically substantiated and analyzed. The researchers developed practical recommendations for mastering the introduction of innovations.

The issue studied is the development of the innovative pedagogical culture of future primary school teachers. The purpose of the article is to substantiate innovative principles in the training of modern teachers who are capable to implement the ideas of personality-centered education, to solve original educational and socio-cultural problems as components of the innovative and pedagogical culture of a future teacher.

A specialist in innovative culture in the field of education is a teacher who has enough knowledge of subject area, is able to create conditions for creativity and giftedness of his/her students, with a high person-humanist orientation, is capable to systematically perform his/her activities and pedagogical skills. They should fully possess new technologies of teaching and be able to apply creatively domestic and foreign experience.

Such a teacher is able to effectively organize the educational process, namely, to use modern integration training tools, the teacher can develop his teaching tactics that can be successfully applied for a particular pupil or for a specific event, and which fully reflects the personality of the teacher, his/her emotional features, individual methods, modern approaches to teaching. The development of the innovative culture of the primary school teacher in the process of professional training should be considered as the main goal of the educational process at the higher educational institution. Today, the education system needs a new teacher who is capable of working in an innovative environment. Calculation in pedagogical activity leads to the loss of the prestige of education, and creative pedagogical work requires a high general culture, developed innovative thinking, the ability to constantly and critically analyze the effectiveness of their professional activities. This becomes possible only if the teacher develops an innovative culture that reflects the value orientation of the teacher, enshrined in the motives, knowledge and skills, as well as in samples and standards of professional behavior.

Positive attitude towards innovations and improvement in education should be built during the training of future teachers. Summing up, it should be emphasized that the main task of the teacher training is qualitative preparation of an individual to the future life.
