Publishing design of the article structural elements

All publishing elements are placed consistently by single line spacing, without paragraph spacing.

  1. The UDC(bold font, size 14 pt, alignment — on left, without the first line indent).
  2. The title of the article(bold font, size 14 pt, all letters are capital, centered alignment, without the first line indent).
  3. Surname, name, patronymic of the author (authors)(bold font, size 14 pt, centered alignment, without the first line indent).
  4. Academic status, academic degree, position(ordinary font, size 14 pt, centered alignment, without the first line indent).
  5. Place of employment:the name of the establishment, city (district, region), country (ordinary font, size 14 pt, centered alignment, without the first line indent). Please, mark the official name of the establishment, indicated on its website and in constituent documents!
  6. ORCID ID(registration
  7. E-mail(italic font, size 14 pt, centered alignment, without the first line indent).
    • Summary: subtitled “Summary” (bold font, the first line indent – 1,25 cm, line spacing – 1 pt); farther in the same line – the text of summary (ordinary font, size 12 pt, width alignment) to the article. The size of summary must be not less than 100 words (about 800 signs without spaces).
  8. Key words: subtitled “Key words:” (size 12 pt, bold font, italic); farther in the same line – key words (size 12 pt, ordinary font, width alignment, the first line indent – 1,25 cm, line spacing – 1 pt): 3 – 8 terms, parted by a sign “;”.
  9. The main text of the article(width alignment; line spacing – 1 pt; the first line indent – 1,25 cm; without additional spacing before and after paragraphs) is to contain the necessary elements (without numeration) which are needed to be identified by such titles with the bold font in the text:

Statement of the problem in general.

Analysing the latest researches and publications.

Putting aims of the article (tasks).

Theoretical ground of the study. (optional)

Methods. (for the articles with empirical research)

Results of the study.

Conclusions of this research and prospects for further studying in this direction.

  1. A list of sources in the original language: subtitled “LIST OF SOURCES USED” (indent – 1,25 cm, bold font, size 12 pt, capital letters, line spacing – 1 pt, left alignment); a new line is a list of the used sources with numeration (size 12 pt, line spacing – 1 pt, in an alphabetical order).

Referring to sources (citing) within the text should be made according to АPА (American Psychological Association) style: in brackets the author’s surname – comma – the year of publication, e.g. (Havrilova, 2018). If you need to cite more than one source, you can list the citations together and separate them with a semi-colon ( ; ), begin with the most recent (e.g. Shumska, 2010; Sannikova, 2015; Afanasieva, 2016).

  1. The title of the article, surname, name, patronymic, the extended summary (Abstract) and key words in English.It is made similar to corresponding elements in Ukrainian. The size of summary must be within the limits of 300 words (about 2000 signs without spaces), the text of the abstract should be presented in your own words instead of text of the article and repeat the article structure:
    • - Introduction
    • - Analysis of publications
    • - Purpose
    • - Results
    • - Conclusion.

According to ISO 7152:2010 you should indicate the translator’s initials and surname (translated into English by A. Petrov – the academic title, academic degree, profession, place of work).

For the articles written in English, summaries and key words are added in Ukrainian. Summary in English is given extended in any case.

  1. A list of the sources translated and transliterated in Latin(it is technically made similar to corresponding elements in Ukrainian): subtitle “REFERENCES”; (requirements to References – in the separate file).

We recommend you the following online services for transliteration:

– for sources in Ukrainian – “Standard Ukrainian Transliteration” in the passport standard mode (;

– for sources in Russian – “ТRANSLIT.CC” (

The English language sources, in the case of their presence, are simply repeated in REFERENCES. As for foreign bibliographic sources, except English language ones, they are given in English or transliterated in Latin, without using the Cyrillic alphabet.

Figures (charts, graphs, pictures, photos, etc.) are inserted into the article in one of the formats (.jpeg, .bmp, .tif, .gif) with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (high quality original file only). Tags in figures are made with the font of the main text and its size. Figures are signed and numbered (if more than one) under the figure in the centre of the text with Times New Roman, size 12 pt, italic. All items in simple figures done in Word are to be necessarily grouped. The article should not contain figures and/or a text within the framework, figures placed above/under the text, etc. The text should be formatted in a way that all items are to be placed “in a text”. Complicated, multiple item figures with stratifications are to be prepared with graphics editors (CorelDraw, PhotoShop, etc.).

Tables must have the vertical orientation and be built with the tables master of the Word editor with Arabic numeration, a text in a table is given with Times New Roman, size 10 pt, line spacing – 1 pt. The size of tables must not exceed 1/4 of the total article size.

ATTENTION!!! Alignment with spaces is not used in a text (the parameters of indention are used for this purpose); differentiate hyphen “-“, which is not separated with spaces on both sides, and dash “ – “, which is separated with spaces on both sides; there is no space before punctuation marks, but after them a space should take place. Handles and quotation marks (“…”) are directly covering a text block and are separated only with spaces outside.

In the article initials are separated from surname, and a page from a number with inextricably space (shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Space), eg.: I. О. Synytsia or p. 15.

  1. Information about each authoris given at the end of the article on a separate page, where it is marked:
    • Surname, name, patronymic _____________________
    • Position ______________________________________
    • Place of employment ____________________________
    • Academic status (if is available) ___________________
    • Academic degree (if is available)___________________
    • Postal home address: ______________________
    • Country __________________________________
    • Mobile telephone number ____________________
    • E-mail ___________________________________

Remember, the articles are given completely prepared for publishing. Articles which do not comply for the noted requirements will not be published! Responsibility for the assumed mistakes and inaccuracies is carried by the authors of publications.

ATTENTION!!! The external review-recommendation made by Dr. or PhD – specialist in the chosen scientific field of the collection works – is necessary for all authors who have no scientific degree.

Such aspects must be necessarily given in the review-recommendation of the specialist of this scientific field:

  • - analysis of the scientific problem relevance;
  • - description of the complete analysis of the recent researches and publications on the given problem;
  • - scientific novelty of the results;
  • - analysis of substantiation of these results;
  • - estimation of efficiency (adequacy) of proposed solutions in comparison with the known results;
  • - problematic or controversial points that have to be considered by the editorial board;
  • - recommendation for the possibility of publishing the article in the issue of the scientific works “Professionalism of the Teacher: Theoretical and Methodological Aspects”.

Papers are internally reviewed by the members of the editorial board of the issue. The article can be returned for reworking. The editor-in-chief makes the final conclusion for the publication of the article by the submission of a member of the editorial board – expert of the appropriate scientific field according to the given external review-recommendations.
